I was sitting at my desk the Monday after the April 15th tax deadline.
Having just finished the sprint that is tax season I finally had a minute to sit and reflect. What did I think about? My health.
Like many of you I neglected my health over the previous 4 months and had gained a lot of weight, had terrible sleep patterns, and my body was in constant pain from the sedentary lifestyle.
I felt embarrassed and ashamed.
I asked myself, "How did I let it get this bad?"
I knew I had to make a change for my physical and mental health...
I focused my efforts and developed a 5 step plan.
Step 1: Determine my desired outcome
Step 2: Planning and scheduling my workouts
Step 3: Develop healthy, sustainable nutritional habits
Step 4: Recovery protocols
Step 5: Developing Consistency
I wanted something that I could stick to and be sustainable long term.
Thankfully, it worked. I lost over 30 pounds and I wasn't missing out on my favorite foods. My productivity was never better at work and I had more energy after the work day!
After my success I wanted to share it with other accountants who I knew were struggling with the same problems I was.
That's why I became a personal trainer and started the Tax Fit Blueprint Coaching and training program.
I was able to figure out how to live a happier, healthier life. Now my goal is to help you do the same. I can't solve all of your problems but I can improve your physical and mental health to best equip you to succeed in all other areas of your life.
